Quote #161, My Thoughts and YOUR thoughts

I love Quotes. I love them because they make me think. What does the quoter mean? Why did he/she write this? Is there a message to get through to the reader/the world? What did YOU initially think when you read it?

Here goes blog quote #161....

"You can't do anything about the length of your life, but you can do something about its width and depth"
-Shira Tehrani-

This is one of the most frustrating ,yet coolest things about life.... no one knows when their number is called to enter the pearly gates 'upstairs'. However, as Tehrani suggests, all of us can control what we do, and how we act and live, when we are here.

For those of you who know me..my living mantra is overly simplistic....
Work hard, have fun, help others, and make people SMILE. Hopefully the width and depth of my life will be significant, at least for others who come in contact with me.

How about your width and depth?
That's my view...... What Say You?

I am happiest when I am serving the Lord! Smiles seem to be more prevelent then as well! :-)

Thanks for that. I'm in the middle of a whole load of tests for prostate cancer, the odds of which are now up to 50/50. I'm a retired doctor and know too much. However, sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof and tomorrow will be a good day.
