Blog Quote #678

Here's blog quote #678...
"Here's a toast to someone who's truly a best friend-- a person who goes around telling good things behind your back."
-Elmer Pasta-

This one speaks for itself. Have any in your life that do this? If so, be sure to do all you can, to keep them close by.

Good example and influence on all of us.

Blog Quote #677...

Here's blog quote #677...
"Warning:  Thoughts become things. Choose them wisely."
-Mike Dooley-

Pound for pound,  word for word  this is as strong as a statement can be. Only seven little words. But they pack an ultra powerful meaning. Heed the advice well, here.

Blog Quote #676...

Here's Blog Quote #676...
"We have a strategic plan; its called doing things."
-Herb Kelleher-

For those that don't know, Herb is the CEO of Southwest Airlines. Love that airline.

Sometimes life can be much simpler than we make it. Kelleher is famous for happy employees, fun workplaces, and getting results.

Sometimes, it's as simple as let's hire nice people and then we don't have to train for smiles and attitude. Let's stop talking, and let's start doing.

Do. Get to it. move. Get in action.  Onward...

Blog Quote #675...

Here's blog quote #675...
Only those who do nothing at all make no mistakes, but that would be a big mistake."
-Anonymous-

And that would also be no fun

Great play on words here but also more true than not. No mistakes, no action, no doing...is pretty blah, boring, and un-adventuresome. There are much better ways to live.

To the risky go the spoils and rewards, both large and small. Live life. That's what we are here for!

Blog quote #674...

Here's Blog Quote #674...
"Give me a stock clerk with a goal, and I'll give you a man who will make history. Give me a man with no goals and I'll give you a stock clerk."
-J.C. Penney-

This quote from a man who has seen quite a few stock clerks and cashiers in his day. No disrespect to those two positions, or any title for that matter. The world needs all parts filled  to make things work well and function up to snuff.

So... the question: Goals. Visions. Game plans.Strategies. Any of this important to you?

Most of the super successful have seen things in their mind, before that have achieved them in real life. Many studies support  the value of goals. I believe they help to know where you want to go and how you envision it happening( not that it ever goes as planned, as life is full of surprises.) However it does help to think, plan and strategize up front.
