Something to try and 2 things to stay away from, this week...

Blog quote #1190...
"Two things are bad for the heart --running uphill and running down people." -Bernard Gimbel, American merchant-
We suggest lifting people up. Very good for the heart. Theirs, and yours.

Is it OK to Fail?

Blog quote #1189...
"It's OK to fail--everyone else has." -Hal Urban-
How  good is that? How TRUE is that? It's 100% true, for,  the only people, who have never failed-- have never  tried to achieve something. It's called LIFE. It's experience. It's  learning the ups and down, the nooks and crannies, ins and outs, ebbs and flows of this planet.
Here's a  quick test. Think of the best human you know of, at anything. Beethoven, Bill Gates, Jack Nicklaus, Fred Astaire, Paul Newman,Thomas Edison(well we know that story), Picasso, Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps.
Do you think they ever failed? Yes. Multiple, many, mega times. More than we'd probably care to know. So go out there and get after it. Don't even give a second towards "What if I fail?" In fact, sometimes failure is good-- on your way to success. Onward!
PS-  Speaking of greats, if you want to read a book by one of the greatest teachers ever(IMO) pick up a copy of Hal's book  "Life's Greatest Lessons"

Time to 'get moving?'

Blog quote #1188...
"If we were meant to stay in one place, we'd have roots instead of feet." -Rachel Wolchin-
Sounds like we need to get moving--and by moving we don't mean shaking, bending, or shedding. Forward, we march!

Shocking the world...with honesty

Blog quote #1187...
"It's discouraging to think how many people are shocked by honesty and how few bty deceit." -Noel Coward-
Since we have no control over others, but complete control of ourselves, may we always act with honesty and character in the coming year. That way, we do our best to reverse this non-favorable proportion.
Don't copy bad behavior; instead lead by admirable example. Let's get busy 'shocking' the world!
