Blog Quote #694...

Here's Blog Quote #694...
"Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor."
-Truman Capote-

Now, there is a different perspective, wouldn't you say?
Quite refreshing.

Onward... to more failures, en route--to more SUCCESSES.

Blog Quote #693...

Here's Blog Quote #693...
"You don't save a pitcher for tomorrow. It might be raining."
-Leo Durocher, major league manager-

Manager Durocher suggests living for today. There are no guarantees that we'll even be here tomorrow. Even if we are, our team may have already lost by then.

Too may people live, either stuck in the past, or busy planning for the future-- when the present time, slides right on by them. Be aware of your 'today.' Stay in the here and now.

Good advice, Coach!

Blog Quote #692...

Here's Blog Quote #692...
"It's an evolution, not a revolution."
-Pete King, architect, thinker, and leader-

What a powerful descriptive quote for six words.King uses this with his workforce when he is implementing slow but effective change. The cultural positive shift that he refers to is a dose of reality and good, quality management.

It's real world change--and how it happens. Like the line, 'there's no elevator to success; you have to take the stairs'--this is a similar description of how authentic, IMPACTFUL change happens. Slow and steady, yet, with measurable results.

Perhaps all of us can learn a thing or two from King's mantra.

Blog Quote #691...

Here's Blog Quote #691...
"It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required."
-Winston Churchill-

This hinting at...just get the job done, rather than finding excuses and covering that with the blanket..."Well I did my best." Did you really to do all you could do--to make sure the mission got completed?

A thorough inquiry into that last question will almost always return with the answer: NO.

Churchill suggests to do what's required, to make sure what needs to be finished/accomplished, does in fact, get accomplished. We concur with Winston!

"The embarrassing thing is is that the salad dressing is out grossing my films.
-Paul Newman.-

Unknown if this was serious or kidding, but it's pretty funny.

And for those who've never had it--the salad dressings are very good!

Blog Quote #689...

Here's Blog Quote #689...
"If you live your life on 'Someday Isle'(someday, I'll...) , in your waning years, your best friend will be 'Fonly Ida'(If only I'd a...)"
-Zig Ziglar-

This is agonizingly true.
Life moves pretty fast. Get to--whatever it is that you wan to complete, accomplish, attain, or see/do.

Pronto. On the double!
