Quote #158, My Thoughts and YOUR thoughts

I love Quotes. I love them because they make me think. What does the quoter mean? Why did he/she write this? Is there a message to get through to the reader/the world? What did YOU initially think when you read it?

Here goes blog quote #158....

"To help your children turn out well, spend twice as much time with them and half as much money."
-H. Jackson Brown-

We've all seen it. Most likely we've all been guilty of it once, or twice, or ten times.

Shunning our kids of our time. Throwing a present at them, perhaps a video, or some food or fill in the blank.. all in lieu of giving them what they want most. Time with you.

The latest is all the computer gadgets soaking up the kids time. Between the Facebooks of the world, cell phones, I- phones, blackberries, texting, kids are interacting less with humans(and parents) and turning more to the machines.

Lousie Hart said "The best thing to spend on your children is your time." Give them your time , your attention, your ideas, your LISTENING ear. The communication with your kid will pay off better than any investment Warren Buffet ever made.

That's my view...... What Say You?
