I love Quotes. I love them because they make me think. What does the quoter mean? Why did he/she write this? Is there a message to get through to the reader/the world? What did YOU initially think when you read it?
Here goes blog quote #56....
"Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A Smile. A word of optimism and hope. And you can do it when things are tough."
DeVos is suggesting that sometimes people just need a little LIFT. It can come in many forms such as a compliment, a nice gesture, a thank you, or even a simple hello. You never know what demons others are battling and /or where someone 'is' in their life. At that very moment even the slightest bit of encouragement could make more difference to that person than you'll ever imagine.
Is there someone you know that can use a bit of 'positivity' from you? Call them up, shoot 'em an email.. heaven forbid you actually throw a letter in the mail the old fashioned way. Give it a try and I'll bet you, out of it..not one, but TWO people will feel better.
An old saying .. it's impossible to give some kindness without getting some of the good perfume on yourself. Share some positive perfume today.
That's my view.....WHAT SAY YOU?
