I love Quotes. I love them because they make me think. What does the quoter mean? Why did he/she write this? Is there a message to get through to the reader/the world? What did YOU initially think when you read it?
Here goes blog quote #67....
"Discovery consists of seeing what everyone has seen, and thinking what nobody has thought."
-Albert Szent Gyorgyi-
Aahh, the beauty of life. The mind is so complex that 47 people could look at something and see it different, visualize it different, interpret it different. Isn't that what makes the world go round? People's different toughts, views and opinions and WHY they think what they think. Without this gift of variety, we'd all be a bunch of robots.
With Gyorgyi's quote, not everyone will agree with your thoughts and your vision of what can be. It's called 'out of the box' thinking. Some will laugh, others call you crazy, and still others may label you foolish. However, who says THEY are right? If you see something.. roll with it. If everyone 'saw it', perhaps there wouldn't be much of a 'discovery'?
That's my view.....WHAT SAY YOU?
