Quote #98, My Thoughts and YOUR thoughts

I love Quotes. I love them because they make me think. What does the quoter mean? Why did he/she write this? Is there a message to get through to the reader/the world? What did YOU initially think when you read it?

Here goes blog quotes #98....

"Don't forget to take life one day at a time, because if you miss a day or two... its called a coma."

-Tom Zegan-

Anyone in a 'hurry' in life? Can't wait for this week to be over? Wishig that vacation in April was here; now? Summer can't get here soon enough for you?

Well, pretty soon all of these will be here and have passed us. Zegar is making a joke of the literal translation of missing a day or two meaning if you really do miss it, you've either passed on to the next life, or you are in a coma.

Perhaps he leaves a subtle, yet wise message to SLOW DOWN. Enjoy life one day at a time. Live in the moment. Today's moment. Whatever you are "waiting for" will come and it will be gone just as fast. In the meantime, don't miss out on what TODAY has in store for you. Remember Ferris Buhler's famous line.. "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

That's my view....... What say YOU?

Being just 22 days post-op from hip replacement surgery - I've slowed way down compared to life before. And while this slow down is a result of major surgery, I am enjoying the reduced pace of life.

Kris ironic isn't it? Your FORCED to slow down, and you are liking it.

Hmm

Perhaps we all can learn something from your experience?
