Quote #319, My Thoughts and YOUR thoughts

Here goes Blog quote #319...

"Pity the man who inherits a million dollars and is not a millionaire. Here's what would be pitiful: If your income grew and you didn't."
-Jim Rohn-

Reminds me of a comment I once read that we'll be the same people we were five years ago except for the people we meet and the books we read. Rohn's quote above hits a home run because he's saying it would be sad to come into a fortune and not protect it and/or multiply it.

He further states, more importantly what a waste if you personally didn't grow. Money is material. Your personal growth has real meaning.

What are you doing to improve and grow yourself? Taking any classes, drinking from good books, listening to any educational tapes or CD's? Meeting new people? Taking on new and exciting challanges. It's a pretty big world out there with a huge library of information.
Money is nice. Personal growth is much more satisfying and gratifying.

And if you haven't checked out Mr Jim Rohn, it's well worth the time(www.jimrohn .com)

Thats my view...what say you?

Jim Rohn has got to be my top favorite motivator. You're up there too. Your commentary is ALWAYS concise and relevant. Just love it. Thanks Tim :)

Op2mist,
while you have made my whole week with that compliment, I cannot fathom to be in the same category as the Great Jim Rohn. What a talented man we lost in December of this past year. Thanks for all of us, his great materials live on. THERE is a man who truly left the world a better place than when he entered it.

Thank you for your kind compliments. As always we'll keep in search of the good quotes that make us ponder, reflect, and share with all of you.
