Quote #378, My Thoughts and YOUR thoughts

Here goes Blog Quote #378...

"If you were to ask me 14 years ago, can you play in 2000 consecutive games, can you play in every single game for this amount of years, I'd say no way, that's impossible.'
-Cal Ripken Jr-

Impossible. Big word.

It's so big, so difficult, that it's almost impossible to be impossible. Really.

Think of every difficult or huge task. At first blush, we always think it's impossible. Yet when broken down, bit by bit, piece by piece, it becomes managable.

How does David slay Goliath? Little by little, blow by blow. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. How the heck did Cal Ripken Jr ever play in every single game, 2000 plus games, for 14 straight years? One game at a time.

There is a big lesson to be learned in this blog. You know what... it's not impossible to find it.

That's my view...what say you?

When we climbed Kilimanjaro others in my group looked up at Kili & said "How are we going to climb that & reach the top? It's IMPOSSIBLE."

My main mental frame was one of “just do it”. Don’t ask questions, don’t wonder how you are getting to the top - JUST DO IT – one step at a time!

Mrs. Fields translates it as
I'm Possible.

And Walt Disney thought "It's fun to do the impossible."
