Here goes blog quote #307...
"One ship drives east and another drives west, with the selfsame winds that blow. 'Tis the set of the sails and not the gales, that decides the way to go."
-Ella Wheeler Wilcox-
Ok, be honest. Did anyone think when first reading this, that it was a quote from Dr Seuss? Something about a rhyme that makes a good comment even that much more special.
Key word in the quote: DECIDE. In this example, same winds, yet different people decide which way to angle their sails. In other words, the person CHOOSES which way he/she will go. Given the same set of circumstances, there are many different options and choices to pick from. A wise man once said,"Choose wisely your friends, and, your decisions." They make all the difference in the world.
When put in this context it's pretty cool just HOW MUCH POWER and CONTROL we truly have. Isn't it?
That's my view...what say you?
