Coach Lombardi, one of the tougher, yet more successful coaches that ever lived, had a pretty darn good point here. I never thought of quitting in that perspective, but it's got some merit. Like anything else, repetition falls into habit. Unfortunately, more habits are bad than good, and there is no doubt that quitting is a nasty habit (unless your talking about quitting drinking or smoking).
A sign was posted on the wall of the outpatient ward of the chemotherapy and radiation department at a local hospital. It had Lombardi's message, loud and clear! Kudos to someone for using a quote for maximum inspiration!
That's my view...what say you?
