I think this is the authors way of saying-- yesterday is over. Good or bad, it's in the books.
Leave it there.
Start today anew. Find the sink, wash those hands clean, and let's start today-- Fresh and Positive.
The old line goes, yesterday is past us, tomorrow is the future, and today is a gift. That is why they call it the present.
Live your life in the present. It's all you have right now, right this moment!
