Know anyone that starts to get louder or yell and scream when trying to get (force) their point across to you?

Someone once said 'Just because you talk louder- doesn't mean I'm going to understand, or, further agree with your point.' 

This advice by Johnson is truly spectacular.
Often, the best communication takes place when people actually understand each other's point of view. (Note: Doesn't always mean agreement, but at least comprehending it.)

Yelling, screaming, and talking louder doesn't help. In fact it usually makes things worse. Instead-work on a better explanation--of your thoughts.

This is by no means a slam on the importance of being able to read Latin. Actually it stresses just how important it is  to be able to say NO to others.

Do you know people that always say YES, then can never live up to their commitments? Not good. We like the 'give it to us straight, and honor your word' approach. 

Then there are others-- who always say YES in an effort to try and  please everyone. In the end all they end up doing-- is not pleasing themselves.

And parents dealing with their kids. The old 'Do I want to be their friend or am I being a responsible parent' decision. That's always a lively discussion, in the 'how to parent' circles.

We suggest reacquainting yourself with the word NO. Yes we all want to be a nice guy, but pick your spots where you have to say NO to people. Everyone wins.

Nothing earth shattering here, other than the word consistency. To do, do often, and with a regular, systematic pattern. It's how things in life get done. 

Most occurrences and completed tasks do not happen in a bang or flash..but through steady repeated efforts. Like chopping a tree--the mighty oak may fall on the 2376th swing of the ax--but each of those single, consistent blows--contributed to the end result.

March forward.
Stay with it.
Dig in.
Hang tough.
One step at a time, with consistency.

We believe some are truly sincere, and want the best for you. This might come in the form of praise or even honest, constructive criticism. Others, for who knows why--are just trying to constantly critique, and take pot shots at you.

However, it never hurts to self mirror-ize, and keep an eye on yourself for occasional checkups.

Wow-- is that a perspective changer!
Remember your first visit to Disneyworld-- how blown away you were? How awe inspiring all the sites, cartoon characters, rides and overall amusement was. Almost over-whelming.

On the flip side, since we are on vacationing...how about the last day of a 4 day trip with your best friends to a remote place that you'll likely never get back to again. Makes you appreciate those last moments 1000% more--doesn't it?

Life is like that, and truly, whether we are 5 yrs old or 94 we never know--if and when--what we are doing, will ever be experienced again.

So...try to remember this tip--with everything you do and see. It will add an entirely crisp experience to your life. Kind of like finding a whole new world out there.

This is a great statement by Ms. Clare(extra credit, as she spells her name the same as my mother!).

The mind is a wildly powerful piece of anatomy.
And for those who 'believe'---that doesn't even include, higher powers at work.

Simply stated--put the right stuff in, and incredibly good things can come out. This has been proven time and time again--by the smartest humans on the planet. Folks like Shakespeare, Aristotle, Buddha, Ford, Lincoln, James Allen, and both Carnegie's--have all stated  for lack of better terms--Garbage in--garbage out. But plant good things in the mind, and it will render good fruit.

Thus--for those going through challenges and struggles, find comfort in two things. First--that all humans go through their share of troubles. None of us have it scot free. Second--keep the chin up and the mind thinking positive. 

At some point, things WILL turn--for the better. If, that is, you grind it out, long enough.

That's impossible can usually be substituted for "I don't want to work that hard," or  "How would anyone ever expect me to do that,"or "I don't really have the skills for that--- do I?"
