How Smart our Parents are( Dad's Day Edition)

Blog quote #950...
"When I was a boy of 14  my father was so ignorant, I could hardly stand to have the old man around. When I turned 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in 7 years." -Mark Twain-
Isn't this spot on how smart we are in our youth and how clueless our parents are? And then we grow up and start understanding the world and just how important our parents are to us.
Happy belated Father's Day, all. Whoever invented Mother's and Father's Day, hats off to them, as parents certainly deserve a day of honor, for all their timeless work, caring, tutoring, and love they exhibit on a daily basis.
That's my view...what say you?
More great things await
