Why GOOD IDEAS don't take off, more quickly...

Blog quote #830...

"Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats." -Howard Aiken-
At first blush you read this and say..."That's crazy. A great idea;people will be flocking all over it." Sounds like it makes sense, but actually  there is so much noise out there and so many 'too good to be true' promises and claims, that it's extremely hard to get someone's attention.
And even if you need to come back over and over and over, until it catches on. Then and only then, hopefully those people start shouting from the rooftops-bloviating and confabulating how good your idea truly is.
Gone are the days of the instant gratification hit, and the overnight success. Yeah they exist, but likely 1 in a million.
Get a good idea. Then keep hammering away, letting people know about it. Eventually the fire might even catch.
That's my view...what say you?
More great things await
