Wisdom from thousands of years ago. We believe what Seneca was eluding to is the following:
Keep going. Don't let a one time thing stop you. Practice persistence, and perseverance.
Life is not always positive and fruitful, but over time the squeaky wheel gets the grease. And the ones who stay at it have the best chance for success and goodness.
That's my view...what say you?
