Blog Quote #560

Here's Blog Quote #560...
"No one ever considers himself an expert if he really knows his job. A man who knows a job sees so much more to be done- than he has done--that he is always pressing forward and never gives up an instant of thought,  to how good and how efficient he is.

Thinking always ahead, thinking of always trying to do more, brings a state of mind in which NOTHING is impossible. The moment one gets into the "expert" state of mind-- a great number of things DO become impossible."
-Henry Ford-

A tad long, but full of meaning and very accurate.

I agree with most of this quote but let me add this caveat...
At some point you have to stop always pressing ahead, always striving to do better, and step back, take a breath-- recognize, appreciate and enjoy your accomplishments.

If you never do that, whats the sense? Whats it all matter for?

While I appreciate the gist of Ford's message, "always" in my opinion, should be backed down. Just a tad.

That's my view...what say you?
